Collection: The Larry Collection

In the aftermath of losing my brother, my Uncle Larry brought me back to the living, his home on the Oregon Coast my healing place. Most of the yarns used for the projects in this collection were purchased in small, local shops discovered in summer 2019. From Seaside to Coos Bay, I sought out local artisans and bought hand-dyed wools, cottons, and baby alpaca yarns for the pieces in this collection. Diagnosed with Stage IV lung cancer early in 2021, we lost my uncle at the end of July that year. My uncle was a brilliant thinker and an amazing writer, and I miss him every day. The last remaining physical artifact of the three men we've lost to cancer is his home in Florence, and it is there that I hope my own last chapter will be written.
