Deva Glam 2-Way Poncho
Deva Glam 2-Way Poncho
Just like its Behr Paint namesake, this fabulous poncho is 100% deva glam! Knitted from three wool and alpaca-blend yarns for 75% of the body, the last 25% is alpaca-free, with a self-striping wool in gorgeous maroons, instead. This poncho was so much fun to make because the colors are cheerfully bright, reinforced by the variety of textures. The best thing about this poncho, though, is its versatility. Worn horizontally, its 14" boatneck lays elegantly across the collarbone, 17" of beautiful drape on each side, for a length of 48" side to side and 24" of vertical length. Wearing it this way leaves your arms unencumbered in front, with plenty of shawl/blanket-like coziness available from the sides. Wearing it as a V-neck leaves 16" from neck to outer edge on both sides and 24" of dramatic drape in front and back. It looks equally amazing worn asymmetrically or off-center, and of course you can just wrap it around yourself without pulling it over your head at all. With a reinforced neckline rather than ribbing around the neck opening, though, this poncho easily goes on and comes off without messing up your hair. Would you expect anything less from genuine deva glam?
