Collection: The Phillip Collection

My most recent creations have tended toward wearable layers and outerwear, with patterns discovered through resources like Etsy and Ravelry and new yarns ordered from textile artists on social media. The pandemic lockdown provided an unprecedented opportunity to explore, experiment, and (re)make specific pieces, as well as to try out some ready-made kits (Wool & the Gang, Lauren Aston Designs, and Loopy Mango) and participate in some Berroco Yarns drop-ship Knitalongs. This collection is named for my father, who diagnosed with Stage IV pancreatic cancer at the beginning of 2022 and passed just before Thanksgiving last year. Over the last two years, I have focused on finishing more than a dozen projects started during the pandemic, providing a little bit of closure to this chapter of loss.
