Vestido Sweater Vest
Vestido Sweater Vest
Designer Bobbi Intveld for Blue Sky Fibers describes the Vestido Wrap as a vest, a wrap, and a scarf that can be worn with ties or without, frontwards or backwards. I chose a lightweight wool yarn in Burnt Sienna, a warm earthy pinkish brown, for this project measuring 76" end to end when laid out flat. Worn as vest, the front and back panels are 38" long, with 15" of stockinette at the top, followed by 15" of lace stitch in the middle, and 7" of waffle weave at the bottom. The front panels are 6" wide, the back panel is 14" wide, and the I-cord ties are removable. This is a remarkably versatile garment in a surprisingly versatile color that looks fabulous every way it's worn. It packs beautifully, the perfect travel companion because of its design versatility.
